Who we are
One entity, one mailbox, one processor.
The people behind this site.
Sprout is a joint venture between an operating Victorian secondary college and Brodie McGee, trading as Digital Attitudes. Enquiries made through this website reach that partnership at hello@sproutos.com.au, which is also the address to use for anything on this page.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
Only what you type into the form.
The enquiry form, and nothing else.
When you submit an enquiry or ask about the trial, we receive what you entered: your name, your role, your school, an approximate number of students, your email address, and — on the trial form — your phone number, your state, and when your next placement round runs. The message box is free text, so it contains whatever you chose to write in it.
Please do not put student details, staff records or anything sensitive in that box. It is a sales enquiry form, and it is not the right place for information about a child.
We do not ask for anything else, and there is nothing on this site that collects information about you in the background.
Cookies and tracking
There are none. This is checkable.
No cookies. No analytics. No third parties.
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tag manager, no heat mapping, no advertising pixels and no session recording. It loads no fonts, scripts, images or embeds from anyone else’s servers — everything it needs is served from this domain.
That means no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. It also means you can verify the claim rather than take our word for it: open your browser’s network and storage inspector on any page here and you will find no cookies and no outbound requests to another host.
What happens to it
It becomes an email. That is the whole mechanism.
Your enquiry becomes one email.
When you submit the form, the details are turned into a single email and delivered to our mailbox. The website itself stores nothing: there is no database behind this site, no customer record created, and no profile built. We use what you send to reply to you, to answer your questions, and to arrange a walkthrough or a trial if that is what you asked for.
We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not send marketing to people who have not asked for it. We never sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share your enquiry with anyone outside the partnership described above.
Where it goes
Served in Sydney; delivered by a US provider.
Hosting and the one provider involved.
This website is hosted on Vercel and served from its Sydney region. Email delivery for the enquiry form is handled by Resend, which processes the message in order to send it. Resend is based in the United States, so submitting the form involves your details being handled overseas by that provider in the course of delivering the email. Both companies act as our processors and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
The “Australian-hosted, in Sydney” commitment described elsewhere on this site refers to the Sprout applications and the school data they hold. Those run under a separate agreement with each school, and this page does not describe them.
How long we keep it
As long as the conversation is live, and no longer than you want.
Retention, access and deletion.
Your enquiry stays in our mailbox while we are talking, and afterwards as a record of that conversation. We review enquiries periodically and delete ones that are no longer needed.
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@sproutos.com.au and we will action it — deletion included, without asking you to justify the request.
Security
Small surface, kept small.
How it is protected.
The site is served over HTTPS only. The enquiry form posts to our own server rather than to a third-party form service, and the submission is not written to disk. Access to the mailbox is limited to the people who answer enquiries.
No transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can say is that the amount of information this site collects, and the number of places it goes, are both deliberately small.
